The screen fades in from black, revealing a hidden stronghold deep within a desolate landscape, where the air is thick with tension and the scent of blood lingers like a haunting memory. The scene opens with the drone's camera gliding silently over the entrance of a dilapidated building, its lens capturing the grim aftermath of a fierce battle. Bodies lie scattered across the cold, hard ground—snipers in tactical gear and masked mercenaries, their lifeless forms draped in shadows, blood pooling around them like dark, crimson water.

As the camera moves deeper into this sinister lair, it navigates through the chaotic scene, revealing the horror that unfolded within these walls. Each corner tells a story of violence and desperation, but it finally settles at the heart of the chaos—a dimly lit chamber where an intense confrontation is about to take place.

In the center stands Joseph, a striking figure with an aura of strength and determination. At 24 years old, he embodies both youth and wisdom, his chiselled features framed by a sheen of sweat that glistens under the flickering light. His green belt signifies his dedication to Kung Fu, but it’s his piercing gaze that reveals a man transformed by grief and rage. A slasher clutched tightly in his hand reflects his resolve—a weapon forged not just for combat, but as an instrument of justice.

Before him kneels a broken man, trembling and bloodied, begging for mercy as he clutches his severed wrists. "What’s all this about?” he groans, pain etched across his face as he struggles to comprehend his fate.

“You destroyed my family,” Joseph replies, his voice low and filled with sorrow. “This is for my family’s sake!” The weight of his words hangs heavily in the air.

The kneeling man stammers in desperation, “Bu...but...we do kill as commanded by Mi...cha..el!” His voice falters as agony overwhelms him; he collapses backward into a pool of blood, lifeless before Joseph can respond.

“Then you did it against the wrong person,” Joseph says coldly as he turns away from the gruesome scene. His heart races—not just from adrenaline but from the pain of loss that fuels him. He strides toward the exit, each step heavy with purpose.

The drone’s view shifts to capture Joseph’s face as he approaches the dim light spilling through the doorway. The evening sun casts an ethereal glow around him, illuminating his strong features while shadows dance across his skin. The radiant light reflects off his head and shoulders, showcasing golden beads of sweat that glisten like jewels on his damp Japanese T-shirt.

With deliberate intensity, Joseph kneels near the exit—his breathing steadying as he prepares himself for what lies ahead. He raises the slasher high above his head; its blade catches the last rays of sunlight before he drives it forcefully into the stone-cemented ground below. The impact reverberates through the air—a primal declaration of resolve—as if he is anchoring himself to this moment in time.

As dust settles around him and echoes of battle fade into silence, Joseph remains poised at this crossroads between vengeance and redemption. The journey ahead will demand everything from him—courage, strength, and perhaps even forgiveness—but for now, he embraces his destiny in this shadowy realm where vengeance reigns supreme.

PART B

Part A

Jared was a seasoned judge, known for his keen intellect and unwavering commitment to justice. He had successfully resolved numerous crime cases, always striving to bring peace to the troubled streets.

One fateful day, Joseph Wanjala, a man burdened with a heavy heart and an even heavier secret, sought Jared’s help regarding a case that threatened to unravel his very existence.

As Joseph entered Jared's office, he sensed an air of unease. Jared, with his furrowed brow and sorrowful demeanor, listened intently as Joseph recounted his plight. Yet, beneath Jared’s sympathetic facade lay a web of deception. He feigned concern, promising to handle the case with utmost care, but in reality, he was terrified. The case was fraught with danger—an enigma that could easily turn deadly. Jared knew that the stakes were high and that meddling in this affair could put his own life at risk.

Earlier that morning, the news had rocked the nation. A mysterious figure had single-handedly taken down 69 terrorists in one swift act of vengeance. The airwaves buzzed with speculation, and the public was both horrified and fascinated by the brutality of it all.

“Are you the one who killed them?” Jared asked Joseph, his voice steady but laced with an underlying tension.

Joseph’s heart raced at the accusation. He understood that admitting guilt would lead him straight to jail—regardless of the victims' identities as terrorists. Yet he harbored suspicions about someone within the government orchestrating this chaos; he just couldn’t pinpoint who it might be. To complicate matters further, there was no one by the name of Michael involved in this twisted narrative.

“No, sir! How could I have done it alone?” Joseph replied, his voice firm despite the fear gnawing at him.

“But you certainly fit the profile,” Jared insisted, his eyes narrowing as they landed on a bruise on Joseph’s hand. It resembled a knife wound—a detail that did not escape Jared's scrutiny.

Joseph glanced at his hand as if seeing the bruise for the first time. “Oh, this? It’s nothing serious! Just a little mishap during my sword training,” he explained with a reassuring smile, hoping to deflect any further suspicion.

Jared studied him for a moment longer before sighing deeply. “Anyway, thank you for coming by. I apologize if I’ve wasted your time,” Joseph said as he turned to leave. “If you uncover any information about my case, please let me know.”

“Don’t worry, my friend,” Jared replied with a smirk creeping onto his face. “As long as you remember to bring me that cake next time!” His penchant for bribes was well-known; he often found himself working more effectively when gifts were involved. But deep down, Jared also recognized Joseph's financial struggles and understood that gifts were likely all he could offer.

As Joseph exited the office, a sense of dread washed over him. He could feel the weight of impending doom pressing down on him like a dark cloud. Meanwhile, Jared returned to his desk, his mind racing with thoughts of betrayal and danger—his office slowly fading into darkness as he grappled with what lay ahead.

Part B

As they trained together, sticks clashing rhythmically, Davis paused, a furrow of concern on his brow. “I heard you had an urgent funeral. Why didn’t you call me, Joseph?”

Joseph hesitated, guilt washing over him. “I’m sorry for not reaching out, but—”

Davis interrupted, frustration bubbling beneath the surface. “But what? You know that when one of us faces a challenge or crisis, we’re supposed to be there for each other. We help one another!”

Joseph’s heart ached at his friend's anger. “Brother, I didn’t want to disrupt your day. I received a call from an unknown number—it was urgent. My family was in danger! I had to rush to help… but when I arrived, I found my dear parents gone, buried in their graves.” His voice trembled with raw emotion as he spoke the painful truth.

Davis’s expression shifted to one of deep sympathy as tears welled in his eyes. “I’m so sorry, my friend. That’s unimaginable. What did you do after?”

“I tracked the IP address,” Joseph replied solemnly.

Davis turned away in disbelief, shock coursing through him. “What have you done? Are you saying you killed the terrorists? If anyone finds out… your life is in danger! Both the terrorists and the police will be hunting for you!”

Joseph sighed heavily, the weight of his actions pressing down on him like a leaden cloak. “I admit my guilt, but please… do me a favor and everything will be alright.”

Davis looked at him, confusion etched across his face. “What favor?”

“Keep this secret between us,” Joseph urged urgently.

The gravity of the request hung in the air for a moment before Davis finally nodded slowly, a sense of relief washing over him. “I promise,” he said firmly as they shook hands, sealing their pact.

“But Davis,” Joseph added, his tone turning serious again, “we need to find a man named Michael. He’s behind all of this. You must be careful; this search could put your life in jeopardy.”

“Okay,” Davis agreed resolutely, determination flickering in his eyes. “I’ll help.”

Part C

The aroma of aged spirits hung heavy in the air as Sarah, radiating warmth, embraced Joseph and Davis. "It's been too long!" she exclaimed, her voice echoing the relief in her eyes. "This whole situation… it's consumed the government, they're scrambling to investigate." She moved gracefully through her richly decorated home, retrieving a bottle of fine liquor and two glasses from a highly polished shelf. "Please, sit," she offered, gesturing towards a comfortable seating area.

Joseph and Davis, lost in their own thoughts, exchanged a look before murmuring their thanks. As they settled, Sarah poured the drinks, her words flowing smoothly. "I'm so terribly sorry about your family, Joseph," she began, but Davis gently interrupted. "Thank you, but that's in the past. We need to focus on the present."

Joseph took a sip, the amber liquid doing little to soothe the fire in his belly. "Why is our government failing us?" he demanded, his voice low but charged with emotion. "I need justice! This isn't just happening to me; people are being killed every day."

The television blared a news report: "Four more men found dead, apparent kidnapping victims…"

Joseph and Davis exchanged a grim look. "See?" Joseph said, his gaze fixed on Sarah.

"It's escalating," Davis added, his voice grave.

Sarah, visibly distressed, tried to reassure them. "But Joseph, the government's working to gather evidence, to find whoever's responsible."

Joseph slammed his glass down. "Evidence is found at the scene, not in some office!" he roared. "Our investigators are incompetent!"

"Joseph, please," Sarah pleaded, her voice tight with worry.

"There's no time for patience!" he retorted.

Davis intervened, his voice calm but firm. "Joseph, let's try a different approach."

But Joseph was beyond reason. "I'll do this alone," he declared, rising abruptly and storming out.

"Alone is dangerous, Joseph! It's a path to darkness!" Sarah cried after him, her voice laced with fear.

Davis turned to Sarah, his face etched with concern. "I apologize for this… unconventional meeting," he said.

Sarah sighed, running a hand through her hair. "Just try to calm him down. He doesn't know how to control his anger." Davis nodded, a weight of responsibility settling on his shoulders.
